In Samastipur district of Bihar on Saturday night, an uncontrolled car hit an elderly man and hit an electric transformer pole. The old man died in this accident. While two people traveling in the car were seriously injured, after which both have been sent to Darbhanga hospital for treatment. This incident took place near Hariharpur School of Mathurapur Panchayat on Rosra-Hathori main road of Hathori police station. At the same time, angry people protested by blocking the road due to this accident.

According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Ramdas (60), resident of Hariharpur village. It is being told that in this accident the electric pole also got damaged and fell. However, a major accident was averted due to lack of electricity. One of the injured has been identified as Monu Kumar, while the other has not been identified. Seeing the critical condition of both, the doctors have referred them to DMCH after first aid.

According to the information, on Saturday night a car was going from Rosra towards Hathauri. Meanwhile, the car hit elderly Ramdas who was walking on the roadside near Hariharpur School. After this the car riders started driving the vehicle at high speed. Meanwhile, the car became unbalanced and after moving some distance, it collided with a power pole installed on the roadside transformer, due to which the power pole also got damaged and fell. It was just a coincidence that there was no electricity at the time of the accident, otherwise both the people in the car would have died.

Angered by the news of the death of the old man, people blocked the Rosra-Hathori road by placing trees and plants near the spot. Due to this, vehicular traffic on the road came to a standstill, due to which people are facing problems. At the same time, on receiving information about the road jam, Hathori police reached the spot and pacified the people and got the road jam ended.

Hathori police station incharge Monu Rai said that an elderly man had died due to a car collision. The car also hit an electric pole while escaping, due to which two youths traveling in the car were also injured. The vehicle has been confiscated. An FIR is being registered regarding the incident.
